HEY BUDDY,

YOU WANNA SEE SOME JACKETS?

Vidalia Mills Selvedge

The goal of our Pioneer Denim Jacket was to create a garment 100% made in the USA. We are one step closer to that goal with our denim now being supplied by Vidalia Mills. Vidalia notably restarted the 100+ year old Draper looms left when Cone Mills closed their White Oak plant. Combine that with locally grown cotton, the result is a high quality denim with a unique history, made the old fashioned way here in the USA. Available in black over-dye and indigo selvedge, you can order one in Outerwear. Here’s a little gallery that makes us happy.

JEANS!

After two years of talking about it, the work is finally done and our jeans pre-order is now live. Launching with two fits, our jeans are themed around the famous rail car robber Butch Cassidy. His first recorded theft was a pie and a pair of jeans, and in that same vein we wanted to create a pair of jeans worth stealing. You can read more and check out the pre-order here:

Jeans will be shipping Nov-Dec just in time for the holidays. Available in two fits / two colors / two options for stretch.

You can’t have this and neither can we

The trouble with dead-stock fabrics is that sometimes while you are making a sample, the fabric gets swiped up by someone who also sees how amazing it is. This is a Cone Mills 14oz olive denim with grey weft. It is quite possibly the nicest olive fabric we’ve seen and sadly only two of these jackets currently exist. Trust me, we are kicking ourselves for not buying more ahead of time. We originally made this one to show off the jacket, and it’s certainly accomplishing that task. Here’s a little gallery that makes us sad.

If you want to see some materials we are looking to use. You can see our swatch collection HERE.
